Author Guidelines

References

The references used in manuscripts submitted to La Escula Abdiku should consist of at least 80% primary sources, such as scholarly journal articles and conference proceedings, and a maximum of 20% secondary sources, such as textbooks.

The references should preferably be published within the last five years. Each submitted article must contain at least 10 references.

All data, statements, ideas, and quotations taken from other authors or sources must be properly acknowledged and accompanied by appropriate references. Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all citations and references used in their manuscripts.

References must follow the Modern Humanities Research Association (MHRA), 3rd edition, Notes and Bibliography style. Authors should use the citation and bibliography format consistently throughout the manuscript.

References should be arranged according to the requirements of the MHRA Notes and Bibliography system. Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management software to organize citations and bibliographies, such as Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote, or other appropriate reference management applications.

Editorial Policy and Publication Fees

  1. The Editorial Board reserves the right to make editorial and language corrections to submitted manuscripts without changing the main ideas or substantive content of the manuscript.
  2. La Escula Abdiku does not charge authors any page fees.
  3. Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal's online submission system.
  4. Authors can access the journal website at: https://riset2.elmace.org/index.php/laescula/index

  5. The manuscript template provided by La Escula Abdiku must be used when preparing and submitting manuscripts.

  6. Any publication fee, if applicable, will be charged in accordance with the journal's current publication fee policy.

Online Submission Procedure

Authors must first register as users of La Escula Abdiku through the following registration page:

During registration, authors are required to complete all necessary information accurately and completely. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.

After completing the registration form, authors should click Register to complete the registration process. Authors can then log in to the journal's online submission system and proceed to submit a manuscript.

To submit a new manuscript, authors should select New Submission and follow the five-step submission process.

Step 1 – Start Submission

Authors must review and agree to the journal's submission requirements and check all applicable items in the submission checklist.

Authors should also provide a cover letter or relevant comments to the Editor in the Comments for the Editor field, if required.

Step 2 – Upload Submission

To upload the manuscript, click Browse under the submission file upload section and select the manuscript file in .doc or .docx format.

After selecting the file, click Upload and wait until the manuscript has been successfully uploaded.

Step 3 – Enter Submission Metadata

Authors must enter complete metadata for the submission.

The metadata should include the full names and affiliations of all authors, the corresponding author's information, the manuscript title, abstract, and keywords.

The corresponding author must be clearly identified. Authors should ensure that all metadata entered into the OJS system is accurate and consistent with the information contained in the manuscript.

Step 4 – Upload Supplementary Files

Authors may upload supplementary files required by the journal, including a Cover Letter/Submission Letter and other supporting documents, where applicable.

To upload a supplementary file, click Browse, select the appropriate file, and then click Upload.

Step 5 – Confirm Submission

Before completing the submission, authors should carefully review all uploaded files and submission information to ensure that everything is complete and accurate.

Once the submission has been verified, click Finish Submission to submit the manuscript to La Escula Abdiku.

The corresponding author will receive a confirmation notification by email after the manuscript has been successfully submitted. The author can then monitor the status and progress of the manuscript through the journal's online submission system.

Tracking the Submission

After completing the submission process, the submitting author will receive a confirmation email from La Escula Abdiku.

Authors can track the status of their submissions by logging into their account on the journal's website. The submission tracking system provides information regarding the editorial and peer-review process.

Authors are responsible for regularly checking their submission status and responding to editorial requests within the specified timeframe.

If authors experience technical difficulties or problems with the online submission process, they may contact the Editorial Office of La Escula Abdiku through the official contact information provided on the journal website.
